Notes: The American documentary makers - The Maysles Brothers, were given exclusive access to almost every minute of The Beatles first American visit.
They filmed practically everything beginning with their arrival at JFK Airport in New York, then their
appearances on "The Ed Sullivan Show", their amazing concert in Washington and finally a few days of fun in Miami before they returned to London.
Hours of footage was shot but only 45 minutes were used in the special that finally aired in November.
A longer 70 minute copy with extra footgae is in the hands of collectors.
