Notes: Wearing the same clothes as in Version 2 but now against a different colourful triangular shaped backdrop they filmed three known takes of this version.

Take 1 has them miming with all their instruments as per usual but not quite as serious as before. The hula
dancers are again used for the outro. This was seemingly a proper third Version. Unfortunately only 16 seconds of
footage from this version has been released only as part of the "Version 4" official compile promo.

Take 2: Just before they finished filming and began to pack up their equipment, they filmed a second take. In this
one they did a sort of pantomime without any real miming and without using their instruments (though George &
John still held onto their guitars and Ringo still drummed). This "pantomime" version doesn`t use the hula
dancers in the outro instead George does a mock strip-tease! John & Paul then shake hands while George picks up
his guitar again and then John does his unique style of "The Twist" while Paul runs in with a stool and sits down
on it thus ending this take. A near full version (strangely missing the outro) and using just the one front-on
camera angle (As Take 1 also did) was originally released on Youtube by "Revolver Records" with their
obtrusive logo on the screen. Some of these same outtakes (almost a minutes worth) can also be seen in the
official Version 4 "Compile" version. A non "Revolver Records" logoed version with the outro is in collectors hands and hasn`t been bootlegged as yet.

Take 3: While this one camera still rolled they filmed another final take (Take 3). This one captured them packing
up their equipment while still doing some silly stuff including the whole band doing a wild "twist". The hula
dancers are not used for the outro. 30 seconds of footage from this final take is only available as part of the
"Version 4" official compile promo. I suspect this "packing up" take may not have even had the song playing as
they do not mime to any part of the song at all. It may have just been filmed only to use up the last lot of actual film in that one camera.

Also in 2023 Peter Jackson used a few of the same outtakes from Version 3 and ingeniously used them in the promo video for "Now and Then".
