Notes: The day after arriving in The Bahamas, filming commenced in Nassau and on nearby New Providence Island for The Beatles second feature film eventually titled "Help!". Filming here took 2 weeks.
Snippets of two of the unused scenes of Paul racing around in a sports car and George inside a strange plastic bubble were
actually used in the one of the film`s trailers which was shown as a bonus feature on the remastered home video release of "Help!".
The film was originally released on home video in February 1987 and again as a "special edition" on VHS & Laser Disc in October 1995.
It was given a DVD release in 1997 and again in 2000. All of these release were only in the US.
In October 2007 Apple issued a remastered "Deluxe Edition" 2 DVD set Worldwide. A blu ray edition was released in June 2013.
Scenes filmed during this period included:
February 23: Emerging from a swimming pool fully clothed (Beach Hotel, Nassau); Ringo listening to Conch Shells (unused scene).
February 24/25: Riding bicycles; Playing soccer; Beatles driving sports cars (unused scene); George in some sort of plastic bubble (unused scene).
February 26: Ringo chase scene;
February 27: "Another Girl" scene on beach.
February 28 - 29: Ringo kidnapped in boot of car with George in pursuit; Beach scenes.
March 1: Ringo yacht scene & beach scenes.
March 2-4: Ringo being painted red and the others rescue him; various beach scenes.
March 5: Scenes at the satellite dish and Beatles & police searching for Ringo.
March 6: Nassau airport scenes.
March 7-8: Abandoned building scenes.
March 9: Final filming on Paradise Island.
