Notes: The Beatles had been booked to record an appearance on the influential US television show Shindig!. The group had
recently returned from their first US tour, so producer Jack Good flew to the UK to make an all-British special edition.

This day was scheduled for rehearsals, ahead of recording on 3 October 1964. The Beatles were at the top of the bill; other acts
appearing were Sandie Shaw, PJ Proby, The Karl Denver Trio, Tommy Quickly, Sounds Incorporated, and Lyn Cornell.
