Notes: Having attempted to record Paul McCartney`s "And I Love Her" on 25 and 26 February, The Beatles finally completed it, recording takes 20 and 21.

Two recording sessions took place on this day. After finishing "And I Love Her" in the first, which lasted from 10am to 1pm, The Beatles completed "Tell Me Why" in eight takes.

After a break for lunch, The Beatles returned to the studio for an afternoon session lasting from 2.30-5.30pm. They recorded
John Lennon`s ballad "If I Fell" in 15 takes, with Lennon and McCartney singing together into the same microphone.
