Notes: On this day Ringo held a press conference in New York to announce the filming of a new children`s series he was appearing in called
"Shining Time Station" which was basically an American adaption of the British series "Thomas The Tank Engine" with the addition of live characters.
Ringo played the 18 inch tall "Mr Conductor" in the first series only. Footage from the press conference was shown the next day on CNN`s "Showbiz Today". Excerpts were also shown on Nov 19, 1991.
