Notes: Paul arrived in Drammen, Norway on September 26 to begin his World tour with a concert that night.
Soon after arriving by private jet he held the first of many press conferences. Only a couple of TV shows were granted short exclusive interviews following the press conference.
Many news programs around the World featured brief footage from the press conference.
The first Norwegian news program to feature Paul`s arrival and bits from the PC was the nightly news program "Dagsrevyen" ("Daily Review") which showed Paul`s arrival and a few brief words from the window of his car as he was leaving the airport plus short segments from the press conference.
Other Norwegian TV programs that featured Paul`s arrival and press conference included: "Ettermiddagsnytt" ("Early Evening News"); "Antenne Ti" ("Antenna 10") and "Kvelds-Nytt" ("Evening News").

Notes: "CBS News" and some other programs around the World featured this very same item which I suspect was actually filmed by Reuters and sold to other news services as they all contain the exact same footage.
Apart from footage of "Figure of Eight" from the Drammen concert they also featured a very brief portion of an interview done after the press conference - one of only two exclusive interviews from that day.
I have yet to find anyone who has broadcast this interview in full which was surely much longer.

Notes: The other exclusive interview Paul granted after his press conference was with the Norwegian children`s show "Midt I Smoroyet" ("In The Middle of Butter Island") a reference to a Norwegian food dish.
Paul was interviewed by a 14 year old girl and was also presented with a gold record.
Following this there was an unique and well made video featuring Norwegian children set to Paul`s song "This One" that also combined the Beatles "The End".

Notes: Many news crews from around the World were on hand for Paul`s debut concert in Drammen, Norway. They were allowed to only film the opening song "Figure of Eight".
Some TV shows combined footage of "Fo8" with the press conference and fans reactions and some promos etc to have a substantial news item.
The longest segment I could find was one broadcast on the Norwegian TVN networks "I Norge" program who used all they had even including some rehearsal footage taken from the London Playhouse back in July.
They showed Paul arriving from his jet and leaving the airport and then footage from his press conference along with "Figure of Eight" from that nights concert.
Other programs that featured footage from Paul`s Drammen concert include:
"Dagsrevyen" ("Daily Review"); "Ettermiddagsnytt" ("Early Evening News"); "Antenne Ti" ("Antenna 10") and <"Kvelds-Nytt" ("Evening News").
From Sweden: "Aktuellt" ("Evening News") & "Rapport" ("Report").
From Australia: "Newsworld" and "Coast To Coast".
From America: "Showbiz Today"; "Entertainment Tonight"; "NBC News"; "ABC News" and "CBS News".
