Notes: Also on hand at the Buddy Holly Week lunch was Rona Elliot doing a report for NBC`s "Today" show in America.
She too managed an interview with Paul which was broadcast the next day in America.
However they only used footage of Paul commenting on the recent Albert Goldman book and Paul didn`t hold back at all.
Directly after this interview was shown, "Today" guest host David Frost then interviewed George Martin live via satellite about Goldman`s claims for another 3 minutes.
"Entertainment Tonight", "MTV" and "VH-1" also used extracts from this interview on the same subject.
