Notes: Paul obviously did a deal with the American current affairs programme "20/20" to shoot exclusive before, during and after footage at the Guinness ceremony.
The interviewer was veteran American journalist Geraldo Riviera. Scenes included Paul, Linda & Geraldo walking down a London street apparently arriving at the ceremony (but no doubt staged especially for the cameras), footage from the ceremony and an exclusive backstage interview with Paul and Linda.
This was broadcast a week later on American TV. An updated 17 minute version was broadcast in Oct 1980.
