Notes: Paul wrote the song "Step Inside Love" as the theme song for Cilla Black`s next TV series. At that point it only had one verse and chorus.
He later added two more verses and a full demo was recorded in November 1967 at Chappell Studios by Paul, George Martin & Cilla.
The finished single version was taped at Abbey Road in February whilst Paul was in India and issued as a single in March 1968.
No idea why this demo session was filmed as at that stage the song wasn`t being issued as a single.
Outtake footage was also strangely used at the very end of the Beatles "Lady Madonna" promo.
A fairly bad quality copy had circulated since the early 80`s before a slightly better copy turned up on a MCP DVD.
In 2009 the raw film footage from the session emerged with 15 seconds of this currently available on Youtube.
Then in 2017 "Revolver Records" uploaded a near pristine print of the official promo video onto Youtube with, of course, their logo across the screen.
