Notes: The last song that John ever worked on in the studio was Yoko`s "Walking on Thin Ice" which they completed on the night he died.
Yoko decided to release the song as a single (released in America Feb 4, 1981) which had been John`s intention as part of an EP of Yoko songs called "Yoko Only".
Yoko decided to make a promo video for the single using previously unseen "bedroom footage" filmed on Nov 26, 1980
with John at Sperone Westwater Gallery in New York as well as new footage of Yoko in Central Park, at The Dakota and walking along
New York streets plus the first ever shown footage from the home movies taken at John & Sean`s birthday party on Oct 10 1980
and of John & Yoko enjoying the sunshine at their Cold Spring Harbor home next to the lake on April 12, 1980.
This home movie footage is of the best quality because it was used from the original tapes before Fred Seaman stole all of the footage.
A new video made for a orchestral remix of the song by Danny Tenaglia was released on Feb 18, 2016 - Yoko’s 83rd birthday.
This new video promo used previously unseen outtake footage of Yoko taken at the
Dakota and on a New York Street that was filmed in Jan 1981 for the original promo.
The quality of this footage is stunning.
