Notes: After a very quiet year George went on a promotional tour of New Zealand and Australia for Derek Taylor`s book "Fifty Years Adrift".
George`s two weeks in the antipodes resulted in two press conferences, one significant interview and a live appearance on a concert stage but more on that later.
George & Derek flew to Auckland, New Zealand on November 27, 1984. The next day George and Derek Taylor held a literary luncheon at the Hyatt Hotel in Auckland.
A press conference, to promote Derek`s autobiography "Fifty Years Adrift", was held afterwards. All the press were out in force, eager to have a word with George.
The entire raw footage of the Auckland press conference was leaked to collectors in the 90`s.
